Valve oil seal can prevent oil from entering the intake and exhaust pipes, avoid oil loss, prevent gasoline and air mixture and exhaust gas leakage, prevent engine oil from entering the combustion chamber. Valve oil seal is one of the important parts of the engine valve group. It is in contact with gasoline and oil at high temperature, so it needs to use materials with excellent heat resistance and oil resistance, generally made of fluorine rubber.

O-ring is a general purpose annular sealing device with a circular cross section (derived from the "O" in its name). The purpose of using o-ring seals is to prevent leakage and loss of liquid or gas. They are simple, convenient and have small installation space. Long term sealing performance can be achieved in static or dynamic seals as long as the tank design and material selection are correct and the operating conditions are within the temperature range of the rubber material.

The size of the O-ring is determined by the inside diameter ID and line diameter CS. O-ring size calculation: outer diameter = inner diameter + 2x wire diameter (OD = ID + 2X CS).
